"Cody's New Friend!" is the 581st episode of SML Movies.

Synopsis[edit | edit source]

Cody gets a new friend causing Junior and Joseph to become jealous!

Junior and Joseph are one of the reasons why this episode is bad, it's because they try to get rid of Luke so Cody could hang out with them, which is overly possessive of them. And when it's revealed Luke has Leukemia, this makes them more unlikable since they did all this to a kid whose days were limited.
The two are also quite stupid, as they try to do something Luke has and thinks that Luke is rich despite the fact it wasn't true.
Even thought the title and thumbnail show something about Luke (the person Cody was supporting), Luke didn't get much screen time in the episode.
Why is Judy (Cody's mom) sucking Go-Gurt with little girls?! Isn't she an adult?!
Brooklyn Guy is unlikable as well, as he falls for Junior and Joseph's fake crime and arrests Luke because of that.
Mediocre ending: Luke is out of jail but Cody isn't happy about the fact Luke is out of jail, as he is angry about all the bad stuff Junior and Joseph did.

At least two of the characters are likable in this episode.
- Chef Pee Pee is still a likable and funny character.
- Cody is likable for supporting Luke.
Luke ends up being cured by God.

Junior broke the fourth wall two times.
- He said he is sad that the plushies aren't used anymore, which is a reference to Logan being sued by Nintendo, causing him to use the human puppets now.
- When he said "Super Bald Brothers", he thought that it is copyrighted, that's because "Super Bald Brothers" has a similar name to "Super Mario Brothers".
When Chef Pee Pee tries to tell Bowser, he accidentally says his Mario name, which could lead to a copyright claim since Bowser is Nintendo property.
